Moving to France from another country has been done before. But not by me.
Social media is full of smiley, happy retired people who have emigrated to embrace the French way of living. There is very rarely a hint of any trauma, frustration or despair.
My motivation for moving is to be nearer to family and explore more of Europe before the knees give out or my driving license is taken away. And yes, to become immersed in all things French.
